Mother Lode Arabian Horse Association

Welcome to the Mother Lode Arabian Horse Association website. MLAHA is a group of horse enthusiasts who come together to share their experiences, expertise and love for the Arabian breed.
The Mother Lode Horse Association was founded in the early 1970’s. It is sanctioned by the Arabian Horse Association.
M.L.A.H.A. hosts various activities that include our annual FUN spring FUZZY WUZZY schooling show, an annual Christmas party, Trail Trials, clinics, open barns, parties and marketing assistance.
We also offer the club members one hour of free legal advice from a local attorney. Generally, requests are for contract review or debt collection.
Every other month you can look forward to receiving “The Tailings” a publication that announces coming events, local advertisements, member’s accomplishments, important announcements, newsworthy items of interest to horsemen, etc.
We look forward to getting to know you and encourage your participation in Mother Lode activities. There will be many occasions in which you can enrich the Association by sharing your unique skills as a volunteer. We normally meet on the third Tuesday of odd numbered months, details are in the "Tailings".
On behalf of the Mother Lode Horse Association we welcome you and hope you will enjoy this year’s fun filled and informative activities.
